Only through vanquishing their leaders will the player’s character gain access to the special weapon that sets them apart from other players.Ĭlick Below Button To Start Megaman X8 Download The gameplay of Mega Man X8 is the same as that of the other games in the series, requiring the player to advance through a number of stages. As these captors’ ideas come together over the course of the game, it is up to the saints, led by X, to put a stop to them. In Mega Man X8, Lumine, a future “Reploid,” was kidnapped from the site where a space elevator was being built, and he must now track down his captors. It was re-released on Steam for Windows on July 24th, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 25th, and in Japan on July 26th as part of Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 for the same systems (Rockman X Anniversary Collection 2 in Japan). The game hit Japan’s PlayStation Network on December 16, 2015. The PS2 model was exported to Japan and Europe the year after Microsoft Windows went through its cycle. Distribution began in North America on December 7th, 2004. The eighth and last Mega Man game is X8 (barring side projects and changes). I don't know about you guys, but I can say with 100% certain that Megaman X8 on this collection is the PS2 version.Download Megaman X8 for PC: Rockman X8 (X8) is a PlayStation 2 video game by Capcom, known as Rockman X in Japan. Wait time to save game, PC version had almost none. Menus, submenus, textures of the life gaugue, icons, any image model at all, bosses menu: All pixelated and stretched specially if you use wide-screen mode. A mode that I could use without problem with the PC release. Lack of customization: You can't choose the language you're playing and the voice you're gonna hear. You can only choose the "version of the release game", that was inexistent on PC version. X, Zero, AXL have 3D models ported from the PC original release but everything else, including some textures are from the PS2 version. The text and artwork on the speech are pixelated just like the menus, something that would never happen on the X8 edition. To tell you the truth, untill 2013 I could play megaman X8 on PC (the PC edition) almost without problem at all. Everything was flawless on that edition, the text wasn't pixelated or anything weird like that. The fact that X and company have 3D models well done but all the menus that surround the models on the Boss selection screen makes so obvious this is the PS2 edition. It's sad that I can go now and download almost 1GB of an old game PC edition (because it's almost impossible to buy that game today) and have a better version of this game, even the movies are better on the PC release, without compression. It's not even a port, it's a bad emulation! The game has a freaking slow down! A Slow ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down, in parts I never had with a simple GPU with 200MB, now I have a freaking Radeon R9280 with 3GB and all, and the freaking game is having slow down issues just like the PS2 had! It's sad that the only way to get the game and pay for it, it's a freaking emulation. Really Capcom, I was hoping too much it seems, to want the PC editions of these games to come with the freaking PC EDITION of the Legacy Collection. This will not change, I'm sure of it, after all the work is done, but it's sad.
